The research investigates the role for designers to foster contemporary DIY practice. The main objective is attempting to exploit the sustainable potentiality in this practice, focusing on such activies as Re-using, -pairing, -storing, -interpreting and other ways to prolong artefacts lifespan through active users' participation.
